Live well in mind & body

Carson Smith is a registered yoga teacher (RYT 200) trained in the Kripalu Yoga tradition. Carson began practicing yoga in 2008 as a means of coping with chronic pain and the physical limitations of a back injury. While experiencing the tremendous mental and physical benefits of this ancient practice, Carson set a goal to become a certified yoga teacher so he could share this gift of health with others. In 2012, Carson earned his YT 200 certification after an intensive residency at the Kripalu Schools of Yoga and Ayurveda in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.  Carson regularly updates his teaching credentials through continuing education workshops.  Carson’s path to obtaining an advanced certification in Five Element Yoga is featured in the March 2013 Issue of the online yoga newsletter Radiant Being.  Carson is a member of the internationally recognized Yoga Alliance as well as the Kripalu Yoga Teachers Association and offers classes to small groups and private clients in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area. Carson is a Maryland native and lives with his wife and four children on a small farm in Baltimore County.
